Program Description With a combined BA/BMgt or a BSc/BMgt degree, you can explore a multitude of interests and careers. For example, if you are interested in managing an art gallery, you can major in art and general management. If sports marketing ignites your passion, you can major in kinesiology and marketing. The Combined BA/BMgt or BSc/BMgt degree program takes five years (50 courses) to complete and leads to the conferral of two degrees. Bachelor of Arts - Economics Economics is the social science that provides comprehension of the meaning and relevance of human action under conditions of scarcity. Economists work to understand unalterable laws of economizing behavior, the knowledge of which helps each of us achieve goals which are individual, time, place and circumstance specific. In other words, the study of economics enables a more effective use of scarce resources such as the time and talent people have available, the land, buildings, equipment, and other tools on hand, and the knowledge of how to combine them to create products and services to satisfy human wants. Economics is a value-free science. It never tells a person how to act; it merely shows how a person must act if they want to attain definite ends. Bachelor of Management - International Management International management is the practice of managing business, not-for-profit, governmental, or other entity's operations across countries. International management professionals are familiar with the language, culture, economic and political environment and business practices of countries in which multinational firms operate. They have the skills needed to formulate effective management strategies in today’s globally competitive environment.
